The Electoral Administration of the Community of Madrid comprises:

  • The Provincial Electoral Board (JEP)
  • The Regional Electoral Boards (JEZ): Alcalá de Henares, Aranjuez, Colmenar Viejo, Madrid, Navalcarnero and San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
  • The Electoral Tables

Electoral administration is regulated by Chapter III of Title I of the Organic Law, whose articles directly apply to elections in autonomous communities.

As the Community of Madrid consists of a single province, a decision was made to transfer to the Provincial Electoral Board the functions that would correspond to the Electoral Board of the Community of Madrid.
